MEET ANNE MARIE LEWIS
Award-Winning Audiobook Narrator

Anne Marie Lewis recently brought home a SOVAS award for Outstanding Audiobook Narration - Biography and is proud of her other four SOVAS award nominations for her narration work in self-help, mystery, history and humor, all favorite genres. A champion of keeping the human voice in the creative space, she enjoys collaborations in both the traditionally published and indie author spaces. Anne Marie is frequently invited to share her knowledge of audiobook narration and production at writers’ conferences, on podcasts and in journals. She serves on the Education Team with Professional Audiobook Narrators Association (PANA) and is a member of the Audio Publishing Association (APA), the National Association of Voice Actors (NAVA), Sisters in Crime and Mystery Writers of America.
When not in the booth Anne Marie battles invasive plant species in her garden (take that, garlic mustard and buckthorn!); cheers on her athlete sons in track, football and water polo; and honors her rich cultural heritage in her kitchen by whipping up a mean Filipino chicken adobo or a satisfying Irish corned beef. She has performed on stages across the globe in operas, musical theater and plays. She learned Japanese while working in Tokyo for two years. A huge fan of classic mysteries, Anne Marie imagines herself Poirot or Jessica Fletcher as she searches for missing wallets, keys, school IDs, and eyeglasses for her family — and finds them! She loved her undergraduate major in the Great Books at Notre Dame and will gladly launch into lengthy detail about it (you’ve been warned).
